We're looking forward to welcoming you to Anchored Atlas Chiropractic!

You've taken an important step toward understanding what's really going on with your body, and getting clear answers.

Your evaluation takes place over two focused visits. On your first visit, we'll take a thorough health history and complete your full spinal x-ray series. Dr. Powell then analyzes your films personally, and on your second visit walks you through exactly what's happening and why, gives you your first adjustment, and outlines a personalized plan built around your health goals.

Before Your First Visit

You'll receive an email from Jane, our patient management system, shortly after booking.

Please create your account and complete your intake forms before your appointment. The forms take about 5-10 minutes, and completing them in advance allows Dr. Powell to review your health history before you arrive, so your visit time is spent on you, not paperwork. Please note: appointments without completed intake forms may need to be rescheduled.

What to Expect

Visit 1: History & Complete Spinal X-Rays (30 min)

✓ Full spinal x-ray series — cervical, thoracic & lumbar
✓ Additional upper-cervical views at no charge, where your history warrants

Visit 2: Your Results, Explained (45–50 min)
✓ Thorough, one-on-one review of your x-ray findings
✓ Your first adjustment
✓ Personalized care recommendations

You won't be adjusted on your first visit, Dr. Powell never adjusts anyone without reviewing their x-rays first. It's a safety standard we don't compromise on.

Address: 710 E Kimberly Rd Ste 1, Davenport, IA 52807 — look for Winston, our eight-foot Sasquatch out front. You can't miss him.
Duration: Visit 1: approx. 30 minutes · Visit 2: approx. 45–50 minutes
When to Arrive: Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment.
What to Wear: Comfortable clothing without metal, please remove all piercings and jewelry before your x-rays. Gowns and shorts are available if needed.

Appointment Policy

We've reserved this time specifically for you. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give us at least 24 hours' notice.
